Zonwering-Nederland digitizes maintenance registration with Checklab
How Zonwering-Nederland uses Checklab to make on-site inspections, rejection reports, quotations and long-term maintenance planning transparent.

Zonwering-Nederland helps organizations keep their sun shading reliable, safe and well maintained. For customers with multiple locations, many installations and recurring maintenance agreements, having a clear overview is essential.
With Checklab, Zonwering-Nederland digitally records the full maintenance process: from project import to on-site inspection, and from rejection report to quotation preparation at the office.
Annual insight into all sun shading
For customers such as healthcare institutions, schools, housing associations and property managers, Zonwering-Nederland maps all installed sun shading every year. For each object, the team checks its status, whether maintenance is needed and whether any components need to be rejected.
"At Zonwering-Nederland, we serve a broad customer base with long-term maintenance relationships, including healthcare institutions, schools, housing associations and property managers. Every year, we map all sun shading for our customers so that it functions optimally when it matters most. We do this using a unique registration method. Thanks to Checklab, we automate the complete administrative process around the maintenance we perform. In addition, we are building a data pool in Checklab that gives the customer continuous insight into the current status of all sun shading. This helps us prevent unnecessary surprises and effectively supports our customers in preparing their MJOB (multi-year maintenance budget)."
From project import to on-site execution
The process starts by importing a project into Checklab. The relevant locations, objects and maintenance points are prepared, so operators on site can immediately work with the right information.
During the inspection, they check the sun shading component by component. Findings are registered digitally, including status, comments and any rejection.
Faster follow-up when something is rejected
When an operator rejects a component on site, that information is immediately available to the office. This makes follow-up faster and more specific.
The office has immediate insight into which components require attention. This makes it easier to prepare a suitable quote and quickly provide the customer with clarity about repairs, replacement, or scheduled maintenance.
A data pool for maintenance and MJOB
Because inspections are structurally recorded in Checklab, Zonwering-Nederland builds an up-to-date data pool for each customer. This data provides insight into the status of the sun shading at both location and object level.
For customers, this is valuable when planning maintenance and preparing the Meerjaren Onderhoudsbegroting (MJOB), or multi-year maintenance budget. They gain a clearer view of what needs attention now, what can be scheduled later and where budget is required.
Less administration, more control
With Checklab, Zonwering-Nederland automates the administrative process around maintenance. Operators can focus on the on-site inspection, while the office has fast access to reliable information for follow-up.
The result is a maintenance process with more control, less manual handover and a clearer picture of the current status of all sun shading.
